What it is

Keep the sound on its own side.

Echo is sound bouncing around inside a room. Noise from next door is sound passing through the wall. They need opposite fixes.

To stop sound getting through, a wall needs mass. Mass loaded vinyl adds a lot of weight in a thin, limp sheet, so the wall is much harder for sound to shake.

It works best as one layer of a system: a wall decoupled from the room behind it, MLV inside, and every gap sealed.

Good to know: MLV blocks sound between rooms. It won't reduce echo inside the room. For that, add our panels.

MLV Sound Barrier: Mass Loaded Vinyl barrier. Dense membrane that blocks airborne noise at the wall level. The primary noise-stopper. 2.5mm Sounds up to 90dB 4mm Sounds up to 120dB
Bass Absorber: High-density acoustic absorber. Kills low-frequency bass vibrations that MLV alone cannot block. Sits inside the wall. 20mm NRC 0.85 40mm NRC 1.00
