What it is

Tame the boom.

Low bass notes are long waves. They pile up in the corners of a room, so some notes boom and others vanish depending on where you sit.

Flat panels on the walls deal with speech and high notes. A bass trap is deeper, and it sits in the corner where the bass gathers.

Ours are faced in wood, so they look like built-in joinery rather than studio foam.

Good to know: it evens out bass inside the room. It won't stop bass travelling to the room next door.
