What it is

Holes that do the work.

Wood Perf is a perforated MDF panel. Sound passes through the holes into the cavity and absorbent layer behind, so the wall looks like timber but behaves like an acoustic surface.

The face is finished in decorative laminate or paint. Up close you see the holes; from across the room you see a wood wall.

It is harder-wearing than felt, so it suits public rooms where walls get knocked.

Good to know: it calms the room you are in. It won't block noise from next door.

MLV Sound Barrier: Mass Loaded Vinyl barrier. Dense membrane that blocks airborne noise at the wall level. The primary noise-stopper. 2.5mm Sounds up to 90dB 4mm Sounds up to 120dB
Bass Absorber: High-density acoustic absorber. Kills low-frequency bass vibrations that MLV alone cannot block. Sits inside the wall. 20mm NRC 0.85 40mm NRC 1.00
PET Acoustic Panel: Visible finish layer. Controls room echo, covers the barrier layers, and transforms the wall into a premium interior surface. 9mm NRC 0.30, 100+ designs
